The spring season calls for vibrant colors as temperatures gradually rise, bringing back life to the trees and their green leaves and awakening the bloom of various flowers. Fuchsia is our featured color in your local My Melrose and Melrose Family Fashions stores. Some might find wearing this vivid pinkish-purplish-red color challenging, but have no fear; we will show you various ways to wear this exquisite color throughout spring. This week, we are showcasing two different casual outfits that are fabulous in fuchsia.
When Barbie Meets Bohemian Fashion
You're a babe that needs a little love from the sun after a long, cold winter. But you love what mother nature has to offer the moment you step outside, and you love the vibrance of the atmosphere and world around you. So you channel that in your spring fashion by featuring fuchsia, which, ironically, was named after the fuchsia plant. You and the fuchsia plant have in common: thriving in warm weather and staying hydrated. So show your love for nature with this Barbie bohemian-inspired look featuring our "Ambiance" Front Tie Keyhole Peasant Tank, white "Love Tree" 40" Maxi Ruffle Challis Skirt and "Top" 3" "Wood" Chunky Ankle Strap Heels.
Fuchsia Street Chic
Commanding attention wherever you go, you are the woman in charge with energetic confidence beaming in each step you take. You know how to be chic on the streets with comfort and ease in mind without sacrificing fashion. So strut your stuff in our "Papermoon" Halter Ribbed Ruch Double Side Tie Crop Top over our white "Chocolate" Pull On Front Tie Cargo Pants and white "Soda" 3" Platform Ankle Strap Chunky Sandals. If you're a bit bolder than the average, other colors to try and mix with fuchsia are lime green, mint, tangerine, yellow and black.
Author's Note
Hi everyone! It's been a minute since we last talked. I'm excited to show you guys more looks coming next week. We have some dressy outfits featuring fuchsia coming extra soon to the website. In addition, I've got a shoot going on for more spring-colored items like lavender and yellow, along with more earth-toned shades for true bohemian lovers, such as brown and green. We also have some new things for our plus/extended-sized audiences and little girls. Playing with these colors is highly out of my fashion comfort zone (remember, I wear all black throughout the year). Still, I look forward to exercising my creativity to show you some fantastic creations that inspire you to explore fashion this spring. Thank you all for being patient and tuning into the blog each week for more fashion tips.
