Cosmetics, hair, and skincare products are some of the most fun and addicting items to grab, whether it's a regular purchase or something you want to try. We have returned with conversations on the zodiacs and My Melrose ladies' shoe styles based on them. Last week's article explained the significance of the zodiac and how you can look deeper into your sign. This week, we're talking about Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, and shoes based on these signs. 

Among youth culture, particularly younger millennials and older Gen Z, a fun and trendy topic of conversation is one's astrological or zodiac sign. Whether or not you believe in astrology, there are some excellent ways to distinguish yourself with inspiration from your zodiac sign. We at My Melrose find astrology fun and exciting, so we wanted to find a way to integrate it into our content. So this week, we bring you part one of shoes inspired by zodiac signs. 

Refer back to a small piece of our post on trending fashion colors for spring/summer 2023, where we discuss Pantone's color of the year, Viva Magenta 18-1750, and the mantra behind it; the encouragement of exploration and self-expression. While this pushes for bold colors and prints, a range of neutral earth-tone colors are creeping to the forefront of fashion this spring – think of a variety of browns, greys, greens, beige, etc. This week, My Melrose talks about earth-tone colors; what colors go with these varieties, and how to create outfits inspired by natural colors we see every time we go outside.

This week, we're featuring more sophisticated looks to showcase more refined outfits that are professional, elevated, and stylish for a night out. So explore your femininity and power and be inspired by the four polished, dressed-up looks to keep you on trend for spring with varieties of tops for women, pants, and ladies' shoes, specifically heels. 

The spring season calls for vibrant colors as temperatures gradually rise, bringing back life to the trees and their green leaves and awakening the bloom of various flowers. Fuchsia is our featured color in your local My Melrose and Melrose Family Fashions stores. Some might find wearing this vivid pinkish-purplish-red color challenging, but have no fear; we will show you various ways to wear this exquisite color throughout spring. This week, we are showcasing two different casual outfits that are fabulous in fuchsia. 

Essential fashion items don't have to be dressed in a drab and boring way, despite their affordability and versatility. For example, casually wear a simple, solid-colored shirt with denim or linen and accessorize with a belt, some jewelry, and a contrasting handbag. Another way to use essential fashion is to dress it up with dress pants or a flowing skirt. My Melrose shows three basic top styles in brilliant and exciting spring colors like orange, kelly green, and red.
